Looks good! I might move some plants near the base of the wood to continue the left to right flow. In general, tanks look more natural when you concentrate plant growth near hardscape / thin things out the further from a visual ‘anchor’ they are.

I like both images! Fish tanks should all be unique like our figure print. Do what YOU want to do and enjoy the natural beauty of nature as it grows!
