about 3 weeks ago i noticed some pretty mild fin rot on my betta’s fins, and i’ve been treating with paraguard in his tank but it hasn’t cleared up at all yet. I looked at him today and noticed this pink spot on his body, i’m not sure what it is or if there’s something else wrong with him. I have aquarium salt but i’ve been too apprehensive to use it or give him a salt bath just yet.
the water parameters are fine. ammonia is 0ppm, nitrite is 0ppm, and nitrates is below 10ppm. his tank is 30 litres, real plants and tannins, and is heated, but i’ve had it off during heatwaves as it’s summer and my room reaches about 30+ degrees celsius.
