So I just walked away from this guy. 😭😭 Back story, I have a 60 L tank that had a halfmoon betta in it with Corey’s and shrimp. Sweetest fish ever. I’d never had an aggressive betta.
Christmas came and I flew home with a juvenile halfmoon. In the tank. Complete terrorist. He stressed the Cories out so much when he hit adolescence that one passed the day I went to buy his bachelor pad. So he’s all set up in his 30l now.
I went today to buff up my Corey shoal and saw this guy. He’s in a nano with shrimp and doesn’t care about them.
Do I go back tomorrow for him? Give him a home in my 60L with the shrimp and Cories??

Yes, obviously you do! He’ll be fine with the Cories so long as you find a temperature that he and they can be happy and healthy with – what variety of Cories do you have? The ones that prefer warmer temps like Sterbai should work well with a Betta. I have colder/preference Cories with my Goldfish!
