Hi all, I got this KastKing V12 Gear Trolley recently. I really like it so far, this is the only issue.

When I tried to put a rod into the holder shown in the image, the left clip snapped off. I tried contacting both KastKing and Amazon support, both of which were no help.

Does anyone have any suggestions to fixing this? Super glue is the first thing that comes to mind, but open to other solutions if someone else has had a similar problem before. Thanks!

  1. Contact Kast King ask about spare parts. A lot of these Chinese companies are really stepping up with customer service.

  2. Super glue will break in the same spot again.

If you can give me good measurements I can probably model it and print it.

    Are you in the USA?

  3. New rod holder. You’ll never get something in there with that elasticity. Maybe they have replacement parts but I doubt it. There’s a reason why it’s so inexpensive

  4. Omg, I just put one of these together last weekend and broke one of those plastic pieces on mine too. I put a rod with a sleeve on it in the holder and it broke. With the sleeve on, the rod had a hard time fitting in the slot between the plastic pieces. I’m thinking that I will usually keep sleeves on my rods, so I probably don’t need those things plastic bars to help hold the rods. It does seem like a week spot that is probably going to break on more of the holders, but perhaps they really aren’t necessary anyway.
