After almost two months of prepping the tank we introduced our Betta fish, Flo, (short for fluorescence overlay, he lives at our office where we make microscopes :))
Very very adventurous soul. Unfortunately quite interested in the shrimp, we think he may have got one. But all the ramshorns and shrimp are adjusting to hiding a bit more with his presence.
See how the ground pellets belong to him and not the snails and shrimp lol def need to find a feeding spot for the invertebrates, hoping we’ve provided enough plant coverage in our 6 gallon cube.
He has two different colored eyes!

I did see the food and though he just massacred the poor snails..😭. Pretty betta tho!
