Snagged both of these from Walmart for about $25 each! I’m planning to use them for pier fishing, or maybe even some nearshore jigging here in the Tampa Bay area. I mostly fish inshore/flats, so I’m looking for more budget friendly rod options as these won’t see frequent/heavy use. I had my eye on the Shimano Saguaro as a decent heavier duty option, so any opinions on the rod or alternatives would be greatly appreciated!

Tsunami has some good budget workhorse rods, otherwise Penn if the reel seat fits them.

The Shimano as you mentioned would be a good heavier rod. I believe I saw some at tarpon fishing outfitters, maybe Like Lakeland fishing outfitters and Tampa fishing outfitters
Probably want a beefier medium heavy for the 6000 and a heavy or offshore rod rated as medium heavy to heavy.
Good inshore grouper, jacks and snook setups.
