I have this uglystick gxt. today the bail started failing not locking back when I opend it this is what it looked like and that little peace of plastic came out. is there anything I can do or trow it away and buy something new?

So the metal part is the bail trip mechanism and the plastic piece that goes into the spring is what causes the bail to be springy. This is fixable. Go slow, take your time. The plastic piece and the metal piece have slots in the plastic that they connect to.
Go slow. Be calm. This is fixable. Where is the screw? Also where is the piece that covers up the spring and bail trip?

Yeah good luck, you’re going to get there eventually, just be patient. It’s a MASSIVE pita.
If it is a new Ugly Stick GX2 combo, return it.
But if you’ve had it for a while, these things really aren’t worth fixing. The GX2 combo is typically only like, $10 more than the rod itself, These things are a $10 reel, I’m honestly quite amazed that it even has instant anti-reverse.
Any $30 reel from a major brand would be a huge upgrade over that thing.
