
So somebody just posted that they got electrocuted by their tank heater.
Im pretty new, This was a danger i never considered.
Here is the obvious solution. Im going to go ahead and get these two things my self. Figured id share the PSA
I have a power strip
Left is a aquarium rated titanium grounding probe. You can connect this into any outlet. with a working ground pin
The right is a external GFCI.. If you already have a GFCI receptacle or a GFCI breaker in your breaker panel you won't need this. I don't i will plug my heater into this. (Some say your pump as well but i think there's less of a risk there)
