Had him for about two weeks if that helps. Tank has been cycled, levels normal. I just did change his layout some so maybe stress? I just want to make sure, as I am new to this. Thank you all so much for your help so far

It’s hard to tell with the darker colors.

Things to consider, what’s the temperature, water parameters for Nitrite, Nitrate, pH and Ammonia?

If you have a nitrile gloves, use it to touch/rub everything in the aquarium. If it catches or snags, that item can tear your fishes fins.

I have a Betta that wraps around the filter intake. Nothing we’ve tried has stopped it. So he has torn edges of his fins. With keeping conditions the best we can manage, he has new growth.

Look for over-the-counter medications specifically for fin rot, like tetracycline or erythromycin. Adding aquarium salt can also help with healing, but make sure to use the right amount and watch how your fish reacts. Just follow the instructions carefully.

Improve water quality: Do daily water changes of 25% to 50% (reduces bacteria, ammonia). Make sure the water temperature is between 80°F and 82°F if possible (Bettas like warm water)

Create a calm environment: Add hiding spots and make sure the tank is peaceful to help your betta feel safe.
