My new 10 gallon fish tank. My plan is one beta fish, and a couple of ghost shrimp.

Check out how to use ceramic rings and sponges as biological and mechanical filter media instead of the replaceable pads that filter came with.YouTube has vids. It was the biggest upgrade to mine and helped the tank cycle.

I’d recommend testing to see if the betta is violent towards ghost shrimp before committing to a community tank. My betta, in cover of darkness, ate all 8 of my ghost shrimp and turned into a fat little ball ☹️

Ooo! I think it just told me it wants a center piece, like a beautiful piece of driftwood. Then more plants. The tank sends me whispers through the night.
