The severums are protecting their eggs from the jewel cichlid and convicts in my tank. The issue is this use to be the stump of driftwood that the convicts were breeding in. The first time the severums fry didn't make it due to the other fish. What can I do to help the severums' second try a successful one?

Remove the fry into a predatorless tank or if space is given use a hang in breeding box
