Got this rod at Walmart for a good price. I mostly ultra light fish in the backcountry of Idaho. My first ultra light rod that’s a single piece. Stuck a pfluger monarch on it. Anyone have experience with this rod? My Walmart has a surprisingly great selection of rods so I was able to fiddle with a bunch. This one felt really good action wise. Not too fast, and has a good backbone.
I’ve been using ugly sticks and bass pro shops micro ultra light carbon rods. Wanted to try something new.
