I’m in the market for a new Baitcaster and apparently Samaki is an Aussie based brand so I’m keen on that idea. Does anyone have experience with their gear?

But I was gifted a gen 1 Zing BC combo…..
Rod is fine… nice even. I’m about 90% sure it was made in the Jarvis/Rovex factory (exact same reel seat, accents etc) and you can get an equally nice Rovex rod for less.
Reel was garbage…. Like hot garbage…. I’d take a $20 Seasir Cast X2 over it any day.
