He’s been fine for the past three months. Water parameters are great and all the other fish are still doing great. Anyone know what’s happened to my little buddy? Can I save him? It’s a cichlid

Not an expert but hopefully others can chime in, looks like an Oscar, they’re amazing fish and can get super big. What size is the tank and what other fish are in there? Is there a chance any fish are bullying him?

Could be caused be other fish. Could be fin rot if your parameters are truly solid i would guess aggression. What is he in there with. Oscar are incredibly resilient i have seen missing one whole side down to the meat to aggression and made full recovery

That Oscar is stressed AF… If he’s in a cichlid tank they will pick him apart for fun
