water out of my tap runs a TDS of 260
after 6months of only water top off was 680.
all my fish are healthy.
im still learning about TDS but i think really, all fish are bred local "ish" to your region… and are used to the TDS locally…
i appreciate you saying 1000TDS CAN be acceptable.

If you use EC instead of TDS, that will be more specific to the water hardness. You can compare the EC and TDS and determine if you just have a bunch of junk floating around but the water hardness is fine.

Hey MD, any tips on clearing up green tinted water? I've had a UV filter on it for a few months now and it's not making a dent.

already got 2 tanks that run like this, a 45L and a 22L realy in the middle, but also tempted too do a no light set up – a window tank no light but sun light and a under tank mat heater for them cold nights.

What is the purpose of balling up the roots of the peace lilly?
