What food are we feeding our bettas? I currently have the fluval bug bites (picture 1) but I’m not sure if my betta is struggling to digest them?
I’ve noticed that my betta gets really bloated so I fast for a day and then when I feed her even a little bit she’s bloated again??
I also have betta bio good and bloodworm sticks (picture 2) which I only give as a treat every now and again. I haven’t given these since the problems started though.
Any suggestions would be great. I’m new to betta keeping and did research food after I realised the ones given to us by the pet store were too big and sank too quickly for them.

Im new too, but i dont think you should worry about them getting too bloated since you even fasted your fish so their digestive track like clears up, you have really good food so i think you are fine and try not to overcomplicate things! But maybe im wrong 😶🌫️, my betta also gets a lil chubby after eating.
Can you share a picture of what they look like bloated? There’s a possibility they’re just full and you’re seeing their full belly. But you could try soaking the food before feeding. Bug bites are pretty top tier for prepared foods.
