This fly was passed around in a presentation on fly fishing in the Northern USA for pike and muskie – he called it a "Rick's Special" because someone named Rick tied a lot of them for people – he didn't know what material was used. It seems to be thicker than normal holographic tinsel type flash, but the whole thing is basically made of the stuff. Stiffer, since it holds its shape some too.
Any ideas what the material is?
