I was considering getting some neko hacks for neko rigging but majority was either out of stock, or only had the bulk packs in stock. So I decided to try to make some on my lunch with some pliers and a paperclip. Proof of concept is there, Once I get home ill try and make a better version using actual wire bending pliers. Considering even tying some string around the shank to keep it closed, or even adding a dab of super glue if needed. I'll post a photo of v2 once I get to making them. Bottle cap and paper clip for scale.

Paperclips are way too malleable to be used as fishing hooks.
