Hi everyone!! I am getting my partner a tackle box as part of his birthday present since he wanted to get some but they are a little expensive. I planned to go with the large C&F Design case since it seems like a good one and he can always return it if he doesn’t like it (I have understood that the perfect tackle box is different for every person). I found this small tackle holder on etsy and wanted to make him one myself since I’ve done a bit of leather work and have some leather+sheepskin at home. I wondered for you experienced fly fishers (sorry, I just ice fish) is this something he would actually use or would the sheepskin be annoying and get stuck on the hooks? I know he would appreciate my making it but I don’t want to make him something that he won’t really use anyway. Please let me know :^)
