Today I had to make the choice to euthanize my 3.5 year old betta. After declining over the last few weeks and being unresponsive to treatments, she pineconed today. I couldn’t stand the thought of her being in pain, so I chose blunt force, and gave her one last cuddle before the end. This was my first fish as an adult, and the one that got me into fishkeeping in general.
