Equipment
- 29g tank
- 265gph canister filter
- Hygger 957 light
- Sponge filter (kept running in case I need a quarantine tank)
- CO2
- 2×100 watt heaters
Inhabitants
- 20 chili rasboras
- 9 panda corys – started with 7
- 3 panda garras
- 8 neon tetras
- 6 sparkling gouramis
- 50 or so cherry chrimp
- 10 amano shrimp
- 1 bristlenose pleco
It's about 50% overstocked, but the corys and panda garras are mostly bottom to middle, neons stay in the middle, chilis stay near the top and in the water lettuce. Sparkling gouramis like to stay mostly in the plants, so they stay out of each other's way – mostly.
The water lettuce and being heavily planted gives plenty of hiding places and do a great job on keeping the water parameters perfect. I do a 25% water change every 4-6 weeks.

Very beautiful tank! I’ve never really had great success with the hygger light so I’m curious how you adjusted the intensity throughout the lifecycle of your aquarium
