First time doing low ph black water tank. The pictures don’t really capture how tea colored the water is. So worth is though. I absolutely love these timid little fish. They’re a male (Surya) and female (Candra) betta rubra pair. Only been in the tank for a couple of days so they are settling in still but eating bloodworms and jumbo brine shrimp readily. Won’t touch pellets for now.
Other stocking are 6 Pygmy Corys and there were 6 kubotai rasbora but after a 4 hour drip acclimation only 2 recovered from shipping trauma. Probably going to move them into my strawberry rasbora tank.
