Did I stumble across really good find? A quick Google ai search claims this is rare and collectable, to what extent though? I came across it sitting on a shelf in a second hand store. The price was pretty low, looked interesting and seemed to come with all the original papers, even the little storage bag is in decent shape. I'm trying to start a small collection of old and interesting fishing gear and that looked like a nice addition.

Can’t say it’s worth $ but I may be wrong. Typically most things that advance with better technology don’t hold value. Especially reels which we all beat up. Buy it for yourself with 0 hopes of ever making money off it 👍 cool find
Just because it’s old doesn’t make it valuable. Maybe to the right buyer it’s valuable but good luck finding that person.
