Bass fisherman here. My go to is the fluke, wacky worm, Texas worm weightles. Nothing really middle of water column or weighted. This year I got a new kayak and can go out on bigger lakes, pickwick mostly. What lures should I be using to target other parts of the water, I feel like a noob just fishing weightless plastics.

Spinner bait is a must for the tackle box.
Chatterbait to cover a lot of water. Topwater options of course. Maybe some jigs to try fishing deeper structure
