
I'm sorry about the awful photo! I'm really new to aquarium keeping so id say my paranoia is kind of high :/ I've had this little moving (what I'm guessing is a snail) but I just wanted to check if he's harmless or needs to come out of the tank asap – Thanks all

That is a nuisance snail (Attention to name), found in almost every aquarium world wide, they hitch a ride in the bag with your newly purchased fish then breed like mad. If you over feed your fish you will notice them multiple within the week, they breed more with a surplus of food. I enjoy them personally, they range from being near microscopic, about 1mm in shell size, up to about 1cm when full grown
For fun drop a cucumber slice in the water and they will mob up on it.
If youd rather commit Snail Genocide simply remove that same cucumber from the tank while the snails are piled on it and discard.
Pretty sure that’s a limpet. They are indeed harmless filter feeders.

To me it looks like a freshwater limpet. Normal, harmless and a marker of decent water quality and a healthy tank.
