10 gal. What is up with this plant? Should I let it do what it’s doing or trim it?

looks like you have got little baby plants! the leaves will slowly die off and you will be left with the little bulbs, those longer parts you see are the roots of the new baby plants, 😀

Aw baby ferns! I plucked mine off once they got good roots and I could see a tiny nub of a rhizome. My tank ended up crashed but one of the babies made it, I glued it to a shell and it’s about 2.5 inches tall now with loooooong roots.
My leaves didn’t die off though, they stayed alive after removing the little ones. 🤔 maybe they would have had the tank not crashed
