Seen a group of cats by the dumpster as I was taking out the trash by this fish tank and there were literally live fish inside. I have NO clue how to care for these guys or what they even are. I like looking at fish which is why im part of the sub, but never imagined this is how id end up with a tank… what are these guys, what do i feed them, and what all do i need?
There's like a small frog in there too in the back of the video.

  1. I see a lot of male endlers and an algae eater. Not sure if its siamese or chinese the first ive heard is a decent tank mate just needs a good size tank. The other ive heard is an agressive prick.

Endlers are pretty much guppies. Live bearers who do well in most tanks and personally i think they have better genetics.

Live bearers and Chinese algae eater. Needs a filter, any type. Find a locally owned aquarium store-not Petsmart etc and ask them. Have aquarium dimensions with you

  3. Looks like tiger endler guppies and Chinese algae eater. First things first are heater, filter, and water conditioner. Then,
Get a test kit and see what the parameters are. Adjust parameters until they are within spec and feed and love. The frog might be African dwarf frog but can’t see to confirm.

  4. You may not want to keep the CAE in the same tank as really any other fish. They can grow up to 6” long, and as they get bigger, they become aggressive towards the other life.

I purchased a dozen otocinclus once, and three weeks later, I brought the CAE hitchhiker back to the LFS. I have snails, shrimps, and a variety of tetras. I didn’t want to risk them over a mistaken identity.
