I went into the hobby with expectations that I would love big schools of fish. I now have an obsession with the little guys and the "pests". They are just so fascinating and amusing. I spend at least an hour a day watching my accidental snails and this window vase I set up from the scrap and trimmings of my main microrasbora tank. The vase is filled with ostracods, possibly cyclopes, and some worms. Frogbit, some algaes and duckweed take in sun from the windowsill, I don't do anything but refill water.
It just, makes me happy.
Continuing, I want to get some other invertebrates, and was curious if anyone has intentionally kept them. I want to start an Aiptasia tank. scuds and freshwater isopods too. I have no saltwater experience, but I think Aiptasia are really interesting and would love to keep some. Any thoughts or advice on the matter?
