Aquariums: Worm attached to little shrimpy boys face?!
What in good gods name is this? I’ve heard of certain parasites attaching to shrimpy but I’ve never had any issues like this in my years of shrimp keeping. Identification and treatment suggestions are very welcome.

It’s hard for me to tell with the shrimp moving, but maybe a Planaria worm. Do you see any little white/opaque worms on the side of the aquarium? They sometimes target shrimplets and sick or molting shrimp. I have a trap in my tank right now. They usually get introduced through new plants

Not planaria. Looks like some kind of leech. Do a salt dip – should get rid of it.
