10 gallon tank with a betta, three nerites, and so many shrimps. I have a couple Amazon swords and umbrella hair grass (I think) and I added frogbit that exploded and I'm worried now its too crowded for my betta. Does he need more room or are all the roots and leaves good resting spots?

I am planning on getting a 20gal soon but I'm not sure whether to keep him in here and have the new tank as a new project to move plants and new fish into or if I need to keep things as is in a larger tank.

  1. It looks good and I think it’s still tamed! My betta likes to swim around frogbit roots and likes resting above tall leaves. It looks like a fun home!

  2. I’m pretty sure heavily planted tanks are ideal for bettas. Just make sure the betta can still reach the surface for air.
