Decided to make a planted bowl, its about 10" in diameter, hand blown glass bowl is it´s not perfect but i think it looks rather nice.
I found that piece of driftwood myself on a hike and had to use it on something, in fact i hope to slowly add moss and some plants on that bit that protrudes out of the water, should be nice.
Never done a panted bowl like this before but I´m confident it´ll stabilize and grow in quite nicely. It´s just 3 days old at this point, I just added 5 shrimps to it for now. May add more depending on how they do, but its in the daily water changes for two weeks stage.
I also added bacteria from an existing filter so it should cycle quite a lot faster than if I hadn´t, or so is my hope.
