Hello! I’m looking for a Daiwa/ shimano reel that fits my expride 6’10 M. I’m European, but it seems that US bass fishermen have more knowledge about these kinds of things than we do here, so I thought I’d ask the experts on the field.

I want to use the expride for jerkbait/ twitchbait fishing mainly, as well as topwater and soft plastics to a lesser degree.

I have been eyeing both the Jdm zillion sv tw 21, as well as the Jdm Metanium 2020 and the Jdm Metanium 2023.

300$ is the most I want to spend +- a bit.

I just need to make sure that the reel handles 1/4-3/4oz lure weight. If this is not possible with just a single reel, it should do well on the 1/3-5/8 range at least.

I have been leaning towards the smaller spool size on the 2020 jdm, but I would appreciate any input!

Thanks in advance!

Lau

my zillions throw that weight range without issue. can’t speak to the metaniums as I’ve not owned any.
