Does anyone with a 1000/2000 Daiwa feel like the handle is too short? I’m trying to find a reel for my light rod but I really don’t like the rotating circumference. Feels like it’s meant for ants compared to all my other reels. Even my Chinese 1000’s have a bigger handle.

Bought a new 6’6” light rod that I’m trying to find a reel for. I remembered I have a 1000 size Exceler that has been collecting dust so I popped it on and instantly hated it. I’d consider a 2000-XH variant but it would only increase rotating resistance and more inertia because the handle is the same size as the 1000s. Daiwa 2500 size is a tad too big for this rod…hmmm.. guess I’ll have to look elsewhere
