Sorry for the crappy photo. Thought maybe someone here would appreciate this. His names Flounder and he was my third Betta after accidentally murdering two while learning the hobby (I now keep large freshwater puffers, currently planning for an Mbu). He started as just my young daughter’s pet. I started breeding snails in his tank (you can never have enough with puffers around) after she lost interest, and it’s become somewhat of a science experiment now. Tons of Java moss and duckweed. Oversized Seachem Tidal filter. Fluval Nano Plant light. I feed very heavily every day to keep the snail population up. Nitrates never get above 10. I can’t believe this guy is going on 7 years old. Anyone else have older Bettas?
