Not bad, gets some ewg hooks and please return that wire leader. You can literally use straight braid for bass. Or just get mono or flouro to use for leader

Ypu are going to need some hooks to rig them plastics up. Watch a YouTube video. I like wide gap offset style (im a Texas rig guy)

  3. Fishing from the bank? Get some 3/0 or 4/0 EWG hooks and fish the stick baits weightless. One of the best bank fishing artificials you can use for bass. They do the work for you. Cast near structure and just let it sink on slack line. Watch line like a hawk for a “bump”. If line starts moving sideways, set the hook.

Vast majority of strikes happen on the initial fall. Once it hits the bottom just do a series of slow drags and pauses. Don’t do a bunch of jerks and twitches. Sometimes doing a series of slow upward pulls and falls works well. Weightless stick baits wiggle in a horizontal position when they fall. That’s what draws most reaction strikes. Weight makes the lure nose dive and look less enticing IME.

If you’re fishing rivers with current, cast diagonally upstream and let the lure coast with the current with the slightest tension on the line. Watch for bumps as it drifts along. Less is more with those lures.
