Betta Fish: My last Petco rescue (I’m grounded now lol)
This is Maximus, he swims a little funky but I've got him in a hospital tank with tannins and leaves gonna get him fixed up and get him in his 5 gallon long with some neon tetras!

I got my first betta less than a week go we was in smaller cup couldnt even swim but he giga panicked when i picked him and swam in circle like crazy and then played dead… there were many pretty bettas but he kinda affected my heart idk so yea i chose him
Now he napping alot but feels like he get more and more energy everyday he got 3 corys they doesnt mind and bother each other its around 20 gallon but its tall and deep so its not really long tank…

maybe don’t do the neon tetras. those zippy guys need much more than 5 gallons and they can very easily bully your betta (speaking from experience). Maximus will be much happier on his own
