Betta Fish: Is this tank suitable for a male betta?
This is the tank dimensions – 22″ (L) × 11″ (B) × 8″ (H)
Can I keep a male betta in here? Is the tank height tall enough? I can't keep lid here unfortunately coz of the lucky bamboo's leaves..

I thought the bamboo was asparagus when I first looked at it and thought I was tripping. This tank honestly looks like a playground for a handsome man now you just need to go find him.

I love this tank how’s your bamboo doing ? I almost got some today for my new tank I’m starting but I didn’t is it easy to grow ? And your tank 10 outta 10 looks like a fairy playground and I LOVE IT any betta is going to love this ❤️❤️❤️

Id be worried about the possibility of the betta jumping as well, but I gotta say that is a dope tank.

Ya, get a plakat or alien so you get to see him zipping through the bamboo!

Lack of lid and water level filled up that high is very high risk… maybe a betta with massive fins/tail might be less inclined to jump and won’t be able to jump as high if it tried, but the water level should still be lowered such that there is at least 2-3 inches of glass as a barrier… def not a Plakat or other betta that can swim (and thus jump) exceptionally well. Tons of floating plants up top could help act as a slight barrier as well.

I would say totally! I’d just add a lot of floating plants to act as natural lid just in case your future betta is inclined to jump, other than that as long as your parameters are good then I’d say it’s a really nice home !!

i believe you can get yourself a looooongfin betta. just make sure to extend the walls with acrylic glass or SOMETHING first.
