Hello! I’m assuming you’re new to fishkeeping, sorry. please remove any and all artificial plants from your tank, as they can rip ghost’s fins. if there is any other artificial decor or rocks and such, please remove it too, as artificial decor is prone to leaching chemicals into the water as well. betta prefer natural plants with big leaves, which they can rest on and under, and they prefer shade too. please make sure to provide him with plenty of cover. longfin betta like ghost also prefer low flow environments, so if you have a strong filter, please change it to a lower setting or add some sort of muffler to the flow. i really hope you have him in a 5 gal tank or bigger. i don’t mean to be rude in any way whatsoever, and apologize if i came off to strong. happy fishkeeping!
