Hes a plakaat and seems very shy. I’m comparing him to my first one and I had a half moon betta and he was already building bubble nests on second day being with me and being really curious. But this one…. Really shy and freaks out very often. Any advice how to make him get used to me better?

Maybe it could be a difference like I used to have a tank right next to my bed and now it’s in the living room with not much “traffic” and me being around
Yes, he just needs a little time. After he sees that you are his caregiver, feeder, and you interact with him, he will start to recognize you in a positive way. He looks young.
its taken my new girl until yesterday to realize im the food bringer and not an enemy. i got her about 11 days ago. it takes time! also my god he is so beautiful
