Aquariums: New shallow aquarium for ricefish and blue dream shrimp.

I’m very happy with this little set up. I’m currently waiting on some water spangles to arrive in the mail. Does anyone have any experience in growing dwarf hair without co2?

My substrate is Mojave sand however I have a mix of organic soil, aqua soil and coarse sand in fine mesh bags underneath the sand shown here. Not sure it will provide enough for the hair grass to carpet. If all else fails I’m just going to add some helanthium tenellum green.
