  1. Line up the threads between the handle and the body, hold the bail so it doesn’t spin, and crank the handle back on

    Is that a Daiwa? You have to position it still and up and line the threads perfectly and then try screwing both directions.

    If I remember right that part screws on leftwards, like someone commented, so ignore “righty tighty lefty loosey.”

    Be patient. Sometimes lining the threads up evenly and perfectly takes a few tries.

  3. If it has the screw on the opposite side, use some light grade lock-tite. Mine never fell off, but it became so loose that id hit my knuckles on the rod. Hopfully this helps for preventing this.
