Got an aquarium for Christmas, its my first time having my own aquarium. It’s a 29 gallon, stocked with 2 Honey Gourami’s, 6 kuhli loaches, 6 pygmy corys, and an overpopulation of snails (i love them). I’ve got zero ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate. I’m planning on getting more plants soon and maybe adding onto my pre-existing population of fish. I’m open to all advice!!!!

  1. Are you in the States ? I’ve read the dwarf ambulia can’t be shipped to the US

It’s likely you do have nitrates with lots of plants, but don’t worry nitrates aren’t bad unless they’re very high. It’s a beautiful tank!

  3. Lovely and pretty. If anything if you want a tip for Ambulia, cut the tops off to equal lengths, then plant the cuttings that you took off the top at the same length, and it’ll be a huge bush in under a month!
