Looking at trying a camera for my night burbot trips, a lot of my customers are from overseas and pretty unexperienced, livescope is a great tool but only if you know what you're doing. Camera may be more user friendly for a beginner, especially as a lot of them can't really tell when they have a bite (they rely on me telling them when to set).

Is there a camera out there that you can see 10+ feet with in the dark? I usually drill a row of holes and have everyone face the same way, shoulder to shoulder. Thought of putting the camera on one end of the string, looking towards the other end. The water up here is extremely clear. Can see bottom in 30 feet in daytime looking down the hole.

  1. That’s a Biggin. Commented bc of the great catch. I unfortunately don’t have any underwater camera recommendations. IMO, kinda a tough one for night fishing. Prolly something out there but is it worth the money/quality. Unless you’re sending big money, keep taking top side pictures like this!
