Broke my 3-year old 7' Okuma spinning rod a couple of weekends ago, and got sticker shock when I went to the store today to look at replacements. The rest of it is in the river – is there a way to just source the top half? Obviously I could Frankenstein it, but would prefer a Okuma replacement

A good reason to buy a new one, replacement cost are almost the same. And hard to find.
contact Okuma and see if they will sell you a replacement?
Maybe you could buy a replacement, but you will probably end up buying a new rod. Good luck
Shimano compre 9ft
You could repair it with a shim or a ferrule if you want, but the power and action will be very different if that’s okay with you. You could contact okuma, or just completely replace it.
Okuma just sent me the top part of my broken rod for $40.
Rod was $350 new.
