I’m going to Kentucky for spring break and plan on fising the Cumberland River for trout. I have a bunch of nymphs, streamers, some indicators, tippet, and leader. There’s a few bass flies scattered in there too. What else should I get or is it good?

You fishing the smaller man made creek they build below the hatchery? All I’ve ever seen used there is nymphs right at the start of creek where the trout come out the pipe. Dozens of people all in the first 100’ of the creek. Farther down the creek the water barely moves enough to use a floating fly. The large river you’re better off using rooster tails.
