I picked up this vintage reel BNIB today however I can't not find any information online. Does anyone know if this reel is worth replacing the line and using vs a newer spincast reel?

Old spincast reels are generally much better quality than the modern ones. The modern ones are “beginner” reels and are mostly plastic, and kinda suck.
at least yours has metal bushings. Lubricate them fairly often and they last a long time.
Ive got an old southbend Norseman reel from the late 50s, on a vintage heddon rod. I destroy bass on it with crankbaits.
The reel you’ve got is definitely worth using if you want a spincast in your arsenal.
