I just got this today and i was changing the line on it and whenever i pulled the line it made this noise. Any ideas why?

That’s the sound of your drag working the way it’s supposed to work. Don’t worry. When a fish is pulling line out you will hear the same sound.

That’s normal, it’s called pulling “drag” you can use the knob on top to make it harder to pull. Drag is used to keep the fish on the hook and have a little fight, when fighting a fish your drag should be pulling when the fish pulls but not too much. My bad if I explained that horribly I’m tired asf

No worries. Drag is too tight. Turn the red knob at the top of the reel a little to the left and it’ll loosen up.

You can tighten the red knob on top of the spool to tighten the drag, but you’re not gonna want to crank it all the way down.

I can’t wait for you to hear that in real time. Completely normal just your drag to prevent breaking off especially important to get it set right if using lighter line. YouTube vid will explain everything you need to know!
