Hey guys, since starting fishing, I've mainly used Shimano gear for all my jigging setups but I really like the specs of the recent Daiwa jigging gear so I'm contemplating jumping ship. As many of you saw in my vid last month, I lost my Shimano Ocea Jigger reel and and rod setup to the deeps, so I need to get ready for the next fishing season and am really thinking about the Saltiga 300HL.
Do you guys spent $500 on reels or go for more affordable ones? (I live in Japan so get the JDM tackle is at the Japanese prices)
Also, I don't really do any freshwater fishing but I checked out the Daiwa Steez SV Light at the Osaka Fishing Show, and I couldn't believe how smooth the spool and level winder moved!
