I have a couple packs of these size 1 octopus hooks. What’s some good uses for this size and style of hook?

Something big, that’s for sure. I’ve never used anything bigger than a #6 and I’ve caught some fat trout on those

I like those for throwing cut bait on the beach, good all purpose hook. Should work pretty well for catfish too

I use these with a strip of squid for rockfish on a high-low rig. Nice sharp hooks, and the shape makes it easier to double-up (since they set a bit like a circle hook).

Those are great wacky rig hooks, size 1 especially good for smaller baits like a flick shake.
