Caught my first trout today unintentionally. Went to a new spot known for trout and bass. Tried to catch some trout first on some spoons, rooster tails, and even tried the new trout magnet kit I got at academy. No luck. Then I switched over to catch some bass on a wacky rig but ended up with my first trout??? Crazy stuff but I’m open to any tips and advice on how to work some of the spoons or rooster tails I got.
